These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by S&C SureConnect Shipping. By registering an account, shipping a package, or using any of our services, the customer (“you”, “your”, or “Client”) agrees to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. DEFINITIONS

  • Shipment: Any package, parcel, freight, or goods tendered to S&C for transport.

  • Customer/Client: Any individual or entity using S&C services.

  • Declared Value: The value stated by the customer for customs or insurance purposes.

  • Prohibited Items: Goods that are illegal or restricted from shipment under applicable laws.

2. SERVICES

S&C provides logistics and shipping-related services including but not limited to:

  • Package collection and consolidation

  • Air and sea freight services

  • Free U.S. shipping address

  • Customs clearance assistance

  • Local delivery services

  • In-house credit card purchasing (subject to approval)

S&C acts solely as a logistics service provider and does not manufacture, sell, or own customer goods.

3. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

The customer agrees to:

  1. Provide accurate, complete, and truthful shipment information.

  2. Ensure items are properly packaged to withstand handling and transit.

  3. Comply with all applicable local and international shipping laws.

  4. Pay all charges including shipping, customs duties, taxes, storage, and service fees.

S&C shall not be liable for losses or delays caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

4. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons

  • Flammable, hazardous, or corrosive materials

  • Counterfeit or pirated goods

  • Cash, checks, or negotiable instruments

S&C reserves the right to inspect, refuse, return, or surrender shipments to authorities where prohibited or suspicious items are identified.

5. PRICING AND PAYMENTS

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, dimensions, destination, and method of shipment.

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Full payment is required prior to shipment release or delivery.

  • Additional charges may apply for oversized, overweight, special-handling, or storage services.

Failure to pay outstanding balances may result in shipment delays, storage fees, or disposal of goods.

6. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

The customer is solely responsible for all customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, penalties, and documentation requirements.

S&C is not responsible for delays, seizures, or fines imposed by customs or government authorities.

7. DELIVERY AND TRANSIT TIMES

All delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather conditions, customs inspections, airline schedules, port congestion, or other factors beyond S&C’s control.

8. INSURANCE

Insurance coverage is optional and must be requested at the time of shipment. If insurance is not purchased, the customer accepts all risks of loss or damage.

9. LOSS, DAMAGE, AND CLAIMS

  • Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt.

  • Liability, if any, is limited to the declared value of the shipment or the amount required by law.

  • S&C is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging or inherent defects of goods.

10. STORAGE AND UNCLAIMED GOODS

Shipments not collected within 30 days may incur storage fees. Unclaimed goods may be returned, disposed of, or sold to recover outstanding charges without further notice.

11. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Shipping and service fees are non-refundable once a shipment has been processed. In-house credit card purchases are final and non-refundable.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, S&C shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit or business.

13. INDEMNIFICATION

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless S&C from any claims, damages, fines, or legal actions arising from the shipment of prohibited or misdeclared items.

14. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Customer information is collected and used solely for service delivery, legal compliance, and operational purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

15. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

S&C reserves the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, or terminate relationships with customers who violate these Terms.

16. AMENDMENTS

S&C may amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.
